Welcome to the first in a series of blogs detailing products that we're more than happy to recommend.

In this blog, we're looking at office printers. There are bespoke label printers, 3D printers, carbon-copy printers and all manner of weird and wonderful machinery for those with unique requirements. In these cases, it's always best to have a chat with us directly. However, regardless of the industry sector that you work in, a standard small office administration environment generally needs a printer that can print in good quality, quickly & efficiently. We're talking about offices with between 1-10 members of staff that need to just get on with their every day tasks without fuss. They'll generally also need to scan, copy and maybe fax occasionally, too.
The printer we use in-house and the one we currently recommend to our clients is the HP Officejet Pro 8720. It is the latest in a long line of Officejet printers and we've been recommending these previous models for several years to the delight of our customers - many of which have remarked about just how much money they are saving on ink compared to their previous printer.
This A4 colour printer features a print finish of at least an equal quality to that of laser printers - at a much lower cost per print. Draft-mode settings reduce the cost further and prints fly off the press even quicker than usual - often the default setting we us when installing printers if our client is cost-conscious.
When it comes to scanning, we love the way that we can configure multiple network locations for scans to be saved in. The user simply walks up to the printer, taps the scan feature and chooses where to send it to. Scanning is also more efficient than ever before thanks to the ultra-helpful two-sided scanning facility. No more feeding the documents through the device twice - this unit now scans both sides of the paper at the same time - making light work of tasks such as multi-page contract scanning.
Copying a document is also a doddle. Quick shortcut buttons on the touch screen allow the user to quickly copy a single sided, double sided or multi-sheet document. Advanced choices also allow the user to reduce the size of the document to fit multiple pages on a single sheet of paper - either single sided or double sided.
With the latest of this long-standing product range, the Officejet Pro 8720 prevents printed pages from sliding off onto the floor. A complete redesign now incorporates a large document waiting area without the previous fold-out flaps.
We're picky! If we're happy with this printer then you should be too!
